Entry Requirements:
The eligibility requirements for IT course are as follows:
- Hold valid passport
- Offer Letter from the selected college/university
- Evidence of sufficient funds
- Proof of International Student Health Cover
- Documents as mentioned in the Department of Home Affairs checklist
- PTE score of 58 (no score below 50 in each skill) or overall IELTS score of 6.5 ( no score below 6.0 in each component)
The Professional Year program for IT is structured to help the computer graduates to enhance their employability skills. It consists of 44 weeks of extensive industry internship. Applicants acquire relevant skills and learn about Australian work ethics. They also learn to face the challenges of working in the industry and establish professional networks. Also they can start their career right away by taking the PYP IT Program.
The successful completion of PYP enables the international graduates to be eligible for 5 migration points for permanent residency.
